Democratic Republic of Congo – Evaluation of Humanitarian Response Program

2004

Checchi led an evaluation of USAID’s humanitarian response effort in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 2000 to 2003, a period of halting recovery from a regional armed conflict that killed or displaced nearly seven million people. The evaluation focused on the effectiveness, sustainability, and overall impact of USAID’s humanitarian assistance interventions, with particular emphasis on internally displaced persons and other vulnerable groups.
