The USAID-funded Transparency Rapid Response Project supports capacity-building of federal, state and local government institutions for the implementation of the National Anticorruption System. Among other activities, Checchi assists with interinstitutional coordination, strengthening anticorruption networks in states and municipalities, replicating the federal anticorruption structure in the states, and developing training initiatives for public institutions. Checchi also works to strengthen citizen participation and civil society oversight in order to increase transparency and government accountability.
